End of a Great Week

Today we finished our first week of school.  This week also included some fun things!

Monday:  School:  see new books, supplies and other fun things
Tuesday: School and play with some friends (we <3 the Kelley boys)
Wednesday:  School and last night of summer Bible Study at church - LOVED this study!
Thursday: School, lake with TLC friends and TLC walk - through night! The kids are so excited!
Friday: School - celebrate the end of our first week with a sugary fun breakfast! Get prepared for our first TLC day on Monday. (Bags are packed!) Shelby headed off to her first official function with the Middle School of GCC. (Yikes!) The boys are celebrating with a rented Redbox Wii game!

Amazing.  Here we go for another school year! There are lots of changes in the air, but we know that God is faithful to provide ALL we need!

One last thing about today ... Happy Birthday to my oldest sis!

We took a day off from school to celebrate Shelby's 11th b'day.  We hung out and just did what we wanted to do!  Later we went to the library (one of her favorite things to do) and the park.

Day two of b'day celebrations!

We had a rough night Shelby's b'day night with a sick brother.  Shelby and John had planned to go for her birthday breakfast on Thursday morning.  Well, we had planned a special gift for Shelby.

 At IHOP, John gave Shelby this special bag!

She immediately knew what those earrings meant,

and she was THRILLED!

To my surprise, Daddy took her immediately to get them done!

WOW, how is that for service?!?!?!

they made lego cars to race,

ate pizza, completed a treasure hunt, ate birthday cookie,

went to the "Ramares Movie Theatre," and of course had pop corn there!

We can not believe that Shelby is 10 years old. She is growing into such a young lady! We are so thankful for this special gift that the Lord has blessed us with!

On Shelby's actual birthday, she went with her Daddy to breakfast at the Pancake Pantry. After breakfast Shelby went to work with Daddy until we met them for lunch. With a few snow flakes around we went to lunch and then John had to head to the airport.

We had a special day!
