Need A Laugh - Geese Sighting!

A little background ... John and I were researching ideas for centerpieces for Kevin's rehearsal dinner in a couple of weeks. We were looking for ideas for flower arrangements, the style vases they were in, etc. We were getting some ideas, but not real sure yet ... so we did a search for "table decorations" and this site came up for inexpensive ideas. I had to click on it! I was reading the first idea to John, but I couldn't get the first sentence out because I was laughing so hard I was crying! You may not find it as funny, but I had to share it! I wish I had pictures! Kevin and Hailey, don't worry - there will be no Geese Sightings at your rehearsal dinner!

Years ago we decorated for a church youth banquet, using oblong russet potatoes, dried weeds collected by the roadside, and gray geese made from origami and glued to the top of a thin wire. The weeds and wires were stuck into each potato. In addition to being fun to make, they were inexpensive, clever, and attractive.

Happy Anniversary!

Well ... today we celebrate 12 super years of marriage! WOW! Can you believe it has been 12 years? The Lord has taken us down some smooth paths, some rocky paths, and has provided us the strength and grace to get over some HUGE boulders! Every step of the way HE has made our marriage stronger and our love for HIM greater! I would not want to be on this road of life with any other! I love you, John!
