More snow in January

Our house after our last snow in January!
4 inches

Down the street!

The weight of the snow on our deck tent.  Sagging a little!

A neighbor down the street pulled out his skis!

Our neighbor, Zae, and Grant.

Shelby "sledding" in a bin!

Jack playing in the snow!

Michael coming in for a little while!

Building an ice fort!

This is what was on our deck when I opened the door!

Jack is loving it!

Michael ready to head to the house!

Michael enjoying some hot cocoa!

John trying to get the snow off the tent!

BIG Snow!

Our day ...

When the snow first started around 8 this morning ... it started looking like this!

Around 10 it was like this.

Around noon it was like this.

Our front rail and bushes.

The snow we collected for ...

snow cream! Yummy!

Time for a little play outside!

Shelby fell out of her make-shift sled!

Michael and me!

Jack is trying to dump that on someone!

I could only find John's jacket before heading out - so I look like the Michelin Man!
Grant's cheeks were getting a little red! I guess so after rolling in the snow!

Our neighbor, Helen, Shelby & Michael!

Right before loading pics I went and took one more round.  After 3 hours, all of the places we had sledded and walked on are now covered again with snow! WOW!

Our front walk and flower bed!

Hope you all rest well in this Winter Wonderland.  We are praying we keep power!
Good Night!

Sorry!

So, I have done a poor job recording 2009 on this blog! Sorry! I think that means I have been busy or just preoccupied! So, we are going to do some back tracking and try to catch up!
Here we go ...
January
Grant started loosing teeth again!
Can you see the one that is almost out?
Now you can see which one was ready!
Before Michael's first trip to the "hair cut" place!
After ...
Another snow shower!
February
A quick trip to Louisiana.
My Aunt Mary passed away and we went to be with family!
Michael sitting outside my parents' back door.
All of my parents' grandchildren have LOVED to ride in this car! There are MANY miles on this car (not to mention we have had several cars)! This is still one of their favorite things to do ... see if they can still ride in the coupe!
Right before we headed home from Louisiana, Grant lost his other front tooth!

More about our snow day!

Snow Day!

We have been waiting and waiting and we have finally got it ... SNOW!

After midnight is started snowing for a couple of hours or so, and now we are getting a little more! The children are still in bed, and John tried to leave (see pictures) to head to Bible study, BUT he didn't make it far! Maybe we can play as a family in the snow! YEAH!

More pictures to come - this doesn't show it well enough! I will also have more blog post of visits with friends and activities over the last couple of weeks!
More blogging soon!
