BIG Snow!

Our day ...

When the snow first started around 8 this morning ... it started looking like this!

Around 10 it was like this.

Around noon it was like this.

Our front rail and bushes.

The snow we collected for ...

snow cream! Yummy!

Time for a little play outside!

Shelby fell out of her make-shift sled!

Michael and me!

Jack is trying to dump that on someone!

I could only find John's jacket before heading out - so I look like the Michelin Man!
Grant's cheeks were getting a little red! I guess so after rolling in the snow!

Our neighbor, Helen, Shelby & Michael!

Right before loading pics I went and took one more round.  After 3 hours, all of the places we had sledded and walked on are now covered again with snow! WOW!

Our front walk and flower bed!

Hope you all rest well in this Winter Wonderland.  We are praying we keep power!
Good Night!

R & R

In 2008, John traveled so much on Southwest Airlines that he earned for me a companion pass for 2009.  That means that any time John flew Southwest - I could go with him for FREE! :) So, I was able to take a few business trips with him in 2009, but my pass is expiring on Sunday! So, I took one last free trip with him last week! John did business, while I had some MUCH needed R & R! For four nights I stayed in a great hotel in Fredericksburg, VA.  I read, watched movies, worked on our 2010 budget, other paperwork, and my goals for 2010.  I am so thankful for that time, after a busy and sick start to our new year!
Thank you Nana for holding down the fort and being grandmother, chef, activities organizer and teacher! We appreciate that!
Thank you, John, for letting me tag along! Can't wait to do it again!

Keep In Touch Stationery

A friend has a super stationery business.  One of my favorite products that she has is this great idea of Baby Shower Birthday cards.  Read about them here.
For the next few days she is having a give-a-way.  Go here to read about it and enter!
Love your stuff, Suzanne!
